RESPONSIBILITIES:
The general scope of this position?s responsibility is to maintain accurate inventory. The position reviews supply & demand to manage issues that could cause production problems. Other main duties include various ad hoc reporting with respect inventory and cost reduction metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential Job Functions:
+ Analyze inventory and costing transactions to provide management with accurate inventory reporting
+ Assist in the maintenance of accurate bills of materials and product routings
+ Manage the calculation and reporting of the plant?s cost reduction metrics
+ Coordinate and track the outbound and inbound shipments of scrap
+ Compile data and reports for the monthly aged and obsolete inventory review meeting
+ Lead and conduct inventory cycle counts as required and serve as a key participating member during the plant?s annual physical inventory process
+ Balance the plant?s resin inventory contained in silos on a weekly basis
+ Serve as backup for conducting the plant?s CSX rail switches
+ Monitor on a proactive basis the raw material stock and deliveries in order to optimize warehouse space without disrupting plant production
+ Coordinate the return of nonconforming raw material goods to vendors
+ Assist the Plant Controller with the monthly financial close process by preparing assigned journal entries and other various reporting
+ Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Ability to work safely
+ Ability to understand/communicate English in oral and written form
+ Ability and willingness to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime
+ Ability to wear all PPE (personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, hearing protection and steel toed shoes
+ Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and the ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze large volumes of data
+ Knowledge of JD Edwards, dcLINK, and IBM COGNOS
+ Experience creating queries within a relational database is preferred, but not required
+ Organizational and problem solving skills a must
+ Attention to detail and the ability to see a project through to completion
+ Ability to meet deadlines
+ Self motivated
Education and Experience:
1. Associates or Bachelors Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
2. 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
